aight so i'm back.

Let's see here, let's go back to wednesday.
It was Joe's B-day so a bunch of us went out to dinner at this italian place called italianis (original huh). i had this zucchini and parmesan soup, an alfredo somethign pasta, and a soda all for just 99 pesos (that's not even 10 bucks!). After the dinner we went to this bar accross the street from the restaurant called Time. I had a little bit of Tequila Herradura reposado (i'm trying to try as many tequilas as ican while i'm over here so that by the time i get back to the states i know what's up!). we headed out at like 10:45 cause the buses stopped running at 11, but to our surprise the mofoes weren;t running since 10! damn and i though LA buses sucked!

Thhursday
i decided to stay in for the night since i had been spending too much money, my throat was bothering me again, ad my stomach was hurting (it's actually still bothering me! = I ) It was good though cause i got to rest and i got better = )

Friday
Now Friday was a bit of an akward day. Leticia invited me to this one house party that she had got invited to by this girla named Landi, who is in one of her classes. So the plan was to meet at el centro and then head on over to the party right. well we got there, leticia couldn;t find the ppl so we walked around for a bit in search of them. we finally found them. we walked a shit load just to get to a super market and buy some drinks. I decide to buy some "100 Anos"tequila, its pretty good, has a very smooth taste = ). we finally got on the bus and headed over to the party, it was actually pretty close to my house! but anyways i had a blast at the party. it was a bunch of ppl from the UADY adn they were all really chill! i talked to a lot of them, i made new friends, and talked a lot of our goals in life! there was this one girl with beautiful eyes! there was this other girl that was pretty fine, but i didn;t hit on any of them cause all i wanted to do was just chill and have a good time = ) maybe in the near future, maybe not, we'll see.Oh yeah we drank like four differt drinks! mexcal, tequila, beer, some type of mixed drink. I almost had my first hang-over ever but i didn't! i woke up sort of nauseus, but i think it was my precious stomach problems coming back, but then i was good.

Saturday
Me, hortencia and leticia met up at el centro again. since i was late on friday i think they planned to make me wait for them this time! i fucken waited for 40 minutes!! anyways we went over to LA 68 and watched a documentary, it was about thes oaxaquenos crossing the border to go play music in their hometowns. it was kinda wack, there was a white guy sort of narrating and producing the documetnary so it seemed llike (to quote leticia) he was romanticizing the idea of crossing the border, adn talking about undocumetnted workers as noble savages (this last part was mine). bitch plz u ain;t telling me what i already KNOW!!!!! But yeah after the doc we went to "Mayan Pub" we had a couple of drinks (i had the "mayan pub" drink) and we chilled to live reggea music! Then we went in search of another bar, we got to this bar and it was wack!!! so we walked for like 8 blocks in deserted downtown merida till we found another bar which was even wacker then the one b4!!!!!! anyways leticia payed for a taxi and we went back to Mayan Pub = ) then we went home and had a good nights sleep.

Sunday I was up till 4am monday morning working on a antropologia de las cavernas presentation. so i went to sleep woke up at 8am, finished up the presentation and then found out at 10am (an hour b4 i had to take the bus to school) that i had done the wrong reading for my presentation!!!! shit!!!!! well i ended up going into my profs office adn telling him what had happend, he asked me if i wanted to present the presentation, valga la redundancia, anyways (this meant presenting after my frined rachel had presented on the same damn topic!) I said no, cause it would seem of bad taste to do that, i took full responsibility for what i had done adn if it meant me loosing 10 pints from my grade then i took that responsibility for my stupidity. it turned out that someone else ( agirl taht never went to class) had prepared the presenation i was supossed to do and it all turne out ok. i had already sent my professor my powerpoint presentation so later on in the afternoon he e-mailed me saying that he had seen my presentation and that it was so good taht he would count it towards my grade even though i didnt;t officially present it!!!!!!!!!!1 Wow God works in mysterious ways = )

now i'm getting sleepy after efen up my sleeping patter on sunday adn then again yesterday, so i think imma hit the sak and catch some zzzzzzz.....

aigh then well u guys take care, if u took the time to read the whole damn thing why the hell not comment? i mean ur already here right, adn plus i know u came cause of the nifty little traking device i have to the right of the screen = )
